For advertisers
Here is how to buy task completions, surfing and ad placements: what goes through review, how long it takes, how to pay and when money is returned.

How it works
There are three ways to promote.
- Tasks. You pay for a specific action by people: a sign-up, a review, a click through to a link and so on. You write the instructions, set the price per completion and the number of completions. Executors complete the task and send proof, and you or a moderator decide whether to accept it.
- Surfing. A type of task: people view your site for the set time in the Clonobux Desktop app. Details are in the "Surfing" section.
- Ad placements. Your banners or text ads are shown on the site in the chosen place and for the chosen period.
Top up your advertising balance first, then create a task or an order. The task budget is reserved right away, and only accepted completions are paid. Unspent budget is returned when the task is cancelled.
Topping up
- Top-ups are made in cryptocurrency. The list of currencies is in the deposits and withdrawals section.
- The minimum request is 1 credit (0.001 USD).
- Rate: 1 USD = 1,000 credits.
- The money is credited to your advertising balance.
Details on requests, timings and currencies are in the deposits and withdrawals section.
Creating a task
- Choose a category. Each category has its own minimum price per completion and its own set of verification methods.
- Write the title, the instructions and what the executor must send as proof.
- Set the price per completion and the number of completions. The price cannot be below the category minimum.
- Choose the verification method and, if needed, add extra conditions (see below).
- Check the amount and pay for the task from your advertising balance.
The minimum price per completion starts at 1 credits, depending on the category. A service fee is added on top of the executor's price. The price for you and the budget are always shown in the order form before payment.
Surfing
Surfing is a task in which the executor opens your site and views it for the set time. Such tasks are completed only in the Clonobux Desktop app, so they are taken by executors who have it installed.
| Mode | What the executor does |
|---|---|
| Auto surfing | Nothing: the app opens the site itself and keeps it open for the required time. |
| Manual surfing | Views the site, then clicks the code the app shows. |
How to create a surfing task:
- Choose the category "Auto surfing" or "Manual surfing".
- Enter the site address and the instructions.
- Choose the display time: from 15 to 300 seconds.
- Set the price for a 15-second interval. The total is calculated automatically: the price per interval is multiplied by the number of intervals in the chosen time. For example, 60 seconds is four intervals.
- Check the amount and pay for the task from your advertising balance.
You do not need to check surfing completions yourself: the app accepts them automatically, and the payment is made right away. There is no verification method to choose.
Pop-ups. If your site has pop-ups or scripts that get in the way of viewing, turn on the option "Allow pop-ups/scripts on the target page". The app will block them before the page is shown.
Task review
- Every new task is first checked by a moderator: compliance with the rules, legality, clarity of the instructions.
- While a task is under review, executors cannot see or take it.
- A moderator can approve the task or reject it. The moderator must give a reason for a rejection.
- A rejected task is not published, and the whole unspent budget is returned to your advertising balance.
- You can have up to 100 tasks under review or active at the same time.
Verification methods
| Method | Who decides | When the executor is paid |
|---|---|---|
| You decide | You accept or reject the proof. | After your approval. If you do not respond within 5 days, the completion is accepted and paid automatically. |
| Moderator | A platform moderator. You cannot decide. | After the moderator's decision. Target: within 72 h. |
| Desktop app | The app accepts the completion itself. | Right after the app's report. The decision is final. |
The verification method depends on the category: the order form shows only the options that are allowed.
The "manual" execution type costs more. The surcharge is shown in the order form before payment.
Extra conditions
- Unique IPs only. The task can be completed only from addresses that have not completed it in the time window you choose.
- Repeat completions. A task can be allowed to repeat. Then one executor can complete it again after the interval you choose.
- Daily limit. The maximum number of accepted completions per day (UTC), even if the budget is not used up.
- VIP. A task marked VIP gets priority in listings. The VIP surcharge is shown in the order form.
Proofs and decisions
- An executor sends text of up to 500 characters and/or up to 3 screenshots, each up to 5 MB.
- Decide based on the proof, not on promises. If the proof is not enough, reject the completion.
- Write a specific reason for a rejection. The executor sees it and can appeal based on it.
Appeal. An executor can appeal your rejection within 7 days of the decision. While the appeal period lasts, the budget for that completion stays reserved. Moderator decisions on tasks that moderators check cannot be appealed.
Screenshots of the proof are deleted after the final decision and the end of the appeal period.
Cancellation and refunds
| Situation | What happens to the money |
|---|---|
| You cancel the task | The unspent balance is returned to your advertising balance. |
| Completions are already in progress or under review | Executors finish them as usual. The money for them is not returned right away. If a completion does not happen or is finally rejected, its cost is returned separately. |
| A completion is already paid | Not returned: the executor has been paid. |
| The task was removed by administration for a violation | Only the unspent balance is returned. |
Ad placements
What you can order. Banner images and text ads in different places on the site. Places, their prices and free dates are visible in the order section. Several advertisers can share one place: impressions rotate.
Period. Pay per day or per month. An order is from 1 day up to 90 days or up to 12 calendar months. One account can have up to 5 placements that are waiting for review or running at the same time.
Creative. A picture can be up to 3 MB per file. Text means a headline and a description within the form's fields. Colour highlighting for a text ad costs extra: the percentage is shown in the order.
Review. A placement goes through review, which takes up to 24 h. The display starts after the review.
| Situation | What happens to the money |
|---|---|
| A moderator rejected the placement | Returned in full: the ad was never shown. The reason is visible in the order history. |
| You remove the placement yourself | No refund. The place was reserved for you for the whole period and was not sold to anyone else. You can remove it at any time. |
| The placement is paused | Display stops, but the place stays occupied for your period. A moderator decides: put it back on display or remove it. A refund on removal depends on the reason; support can explain the details. |
Creatives are kept for 30 days after the placement ends. During that time you can restart the campaign. After that, the files are deleted permanently.
What you cannot advertise or offer
- Illegal goods and services, fraud, financial pyramids and "easy money" without real conditions.
- Malware, phishing pages and sites that ask for other people's data.
- Content that cannot be shown publicly.
- Tasks that ask an executor to share other people's data, passwords or confirmation codes.
- False reviews presented as real experience.
